The Dalmore Luminary No 3 Scotch Whisky

The Dalmore Luminary No. 3 (2025 Edition) is a masterful 17-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky that exemplifies innovation in both design and maturation. This exceptional release was born of a prestigious collaboration between The Dalmore’s whisky makers and architect Ben Dobbin of Foster + Partners, in partnership with V&A Dundee, Scotland’s design museum.

Crafted under the vision of Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass and the legendary Richard Paterson OBE, Luminary No. 3 is limited to only 20,000 bottles worldwide. Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, it underwent a complex and luxurious finish in a curated selection of seven rare cask types—including vintage and aged Calvados, Matusalem and Apostoles Sherries, and fine red wine barriques from Bordeaux and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Encased in a bespoke collector’s presentation box designed by Foster + Partners, this whisky is not only a sensory experience but also a piece of collectible art.
