The Glenturret Highland 10 Peat Smoked is exclusively crafted from peated spirit matured in a marriage of American and European oak casks.
It's a fuller style of peated whisky, balanced by rich, dried-fruit notes.
Glenturret has stuck to its farm origins, remaining one of the smallest of Scotland’s distilleries.
Licensed distilling under the name "The Hosh" began in 1818, when John Drummond began making whisky. In 1875, it changed its name to Glenturret – taking the name from a nearby distillery which had failed 20 years previously.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Smouldering peat with sweet vanilla.
Palate: Rich dried fruits, led by dates and figs, followed by balanced, soft smokiness.
Finish: Wisps of oak develop into a warm, full finish.
