The Macallan The Harmony Collection Single Malt (750Ml)

As one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed, Macallan holds a long legacy from founder Alexander Reid. On a plateau above the river Spey in north-east Scotland, Easter Elchies House is centered on a 485-acre estate. Drawing on influences from heritage, Spain, North America and their respective natural, raw materials combined with traditional methods and craftsmanship. Their award-winning whiskies are crafted with time, care, and quality.

The Macallan Harmony Collection is the first in a series focused on sustainable packaging inspired by Macallans nearly 200 year connection with nature. The single malt itself is the result of a collaboration with their long-standing partnership with the Roca brothers and their hotel and chocolate factory in central Girona, Spain, Casa Cacao.

Packaged in a biodegradable box made from discarded cacao pod husks, this first expression is aged in both American and European Oak casks, evident in the strong flavors of charred oak found on the palate along with clove, raisin, nutmeg, dates and cacao. The finish is extended, with lingering spice and notes of fruit, honey, and cocoa butter.
