Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, created this small batch bottling by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which were then married and finished in hand-selected, Portuguese White Port barriques.
The process of ‘finishing’ creates a beautifully rich, complex & full flavoured single malt scotch whisky.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Tangy stone fruits and lychees mingled with lemon drizzle cake, vanilla pod and ginger biscuits.
Palate: Layers of apricot Danish, poached pears and tarte Tatin bound with black coffee, buttery malt and baking spices.
Finish: Sweet and warming with notes of Swiss roll and strawberry trifle fading into mocha and toasted nuts.
