Tulliebardine Distillery was designed by Wm Delmé-Evans and established in 1949 on the site of a 12th century brewery in Blackford village close to Gleneagles Hotel on the southern edge of Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Tullibardine Distillery produces a range of single malt whiskies and excellent whisky ales and visitors are welcome at the distillery visitor centre which has a café and offers distillery tours.
Nose. Sweet vanilla, with honey, citrus peel and spice.
Palate. Buttery and creamy, with toffee, honey, peaches and apricots.
Finish. Long and dry, with a sweet hint of barley sugar.
