Veuve Clicquot was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot, who came from a family of bankers and textile merchants who already owned vineyards and decided to establish a wine business. With a predominant Pinot Noir, the blend also consists of Chardonnay and Meunier for elegance and roundness. After long aging in their Crayres for a minimum of 3 years, the result is a champagne with strength and silkiness. With notes of yellow and white fruits, vanilla, and toasty brioche, luminous has a perfect balance or aromatic intensity and freshness.
