  This spring loaded Vix-Bit 5 mm drill bit is perfect for precise & easy drilling. Designed specifically for drilling out 5 mm holes, which is very common in European-style furniture & bookcases. The drill depth is also adjustable to a specific depth, due to the set-screw on the side of the Vix-Bit. This bit is made of HSS & has a brad point style tip, which is good for digging into materials well. These bits are a most handy tool especially when working with hardware!

     Sam Vick, a carpenter & building contractor, was looking for an easier way to install hinges, window latches & hardware using screws.
