Yummee

We've long admired The Veil's Tastee lineup of "Smoothie-style" Sour Ales. Fruited to ludicrous levels and introducing confectionary elements to the mix, these beers offer a lusciously soft mouthfeel and flavor experience like no other. For our latest collaboration with our Richmond buds, we took inspiration from Tastee, pairing blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry with just a touch of cinnamon, to achieve a drinking experience reminiscent of summertime berry pie. NOTE: This beer is dairy-free.

Yummee pours a gorgeous deep plum color, leaving viscous legs on the side of the glass after a swirl. Mouthwatering aromas are immediately present, sending waves of mixed-berry compote, tart rhubarb pie, and raspberry fruit leather across the palate. Cinnamon's presence is mild and offers an exciting complexity that brings life to each sip. Yummee is juicy and thick on the palate, finishing sweet, with a soft, yet vibrant acidity that concludes each sip with a welcomed tartness.
