2022 K2 Junior Juvy Fastrak Skis w/ Marker FDT Bindings

So much has happened with junior skis over the years. Ah! To be a kid learning to ski all over again. That would be the life. Back in my day, we had these huge long skis with no sidecut and no hope of ever learning to carve a turn or be able to fit through the trees that I desperately wanted to go through. But enough of being a grumpy aging skier, I’m now a parent teaching my own kids how to ski. One of the things I’ve noticed, is that these shorter, more nimble, lighter skis really let my kids learn how to carve, steer, and float a whole lot better than when I was learning. I try to keep the skis on the shorter side for my kids, as they seem to have more fun that way. At any rate, these K2 Juvy skis with bindings are a fantastic choice for aspiring kiddos who are looking for something light, fun, and playful to take them all over the mountain. With rocker profiles filtering down to the kid's skis these days, the Juvy has a catch-free rocker so you can slide around a lot easier. Snow Snakes seem to have gone extinct thanks to this technology, as unwanted edge catches have virtually disappeared. The rounded and turned-up tail offer the youth of today the opportunity to do some purposeful backwards sliding, but it’s there more for the ease of turn release and mobility versus actually taking off and landing backwards like some young X-Games competitor.
