This is the funnel/protector that sits inside the hopper throat on Ascaso's I-1, I-2, I-Mini and I-Steel grinders, keeping fingers and utensils away from the burrs below. Ascaso switched this part from black to clear plastic on current production, though both fit and function identically.

Drops into the hopper throat, no tools required.

PRO TIPS

• Don't be concerned that this ships clear rather than black, Ascaso updated the material color across the line, and this is the correct current replacement regardless of which color your original grinder came with.
