MoMA Exclusive: Inspired by archetypal personas in Italy, these Buoni Amici Vases bring folksy whimsy to your home. Each sold separately, the vases are crafted from colored soda-lime glass—known for its durability—wood and ceramic. 

Concetta has fond childhood memories that she shares with her grandmother. She remembers the days when the two of them stood together in the kitchen and prepared homemade pasta—a ritual of joy and creativity. Today, Concetta works in the Bottega per lat Pasta in the heart of Bologna.

Simonetta is a wine enthusiast, a passion deeply rooted in her family. She runs a wine shop in Florence to share her love of wine with you. The typical green knot in her hair is a small sign of her Tuscan roots and zest for life.

Pino lives in Rome and loves gelato—nothing makes him happier than treating himself to this beloved Italian ice cream. He often tells the gelato vendors incredible stories—the crazier the better. 

The components of each Buoni Amici Character Vase can be removed and restacked according to your preference. If you buy two or all three characters, you can interchange and mix components from each character. When the head is removed, you can fill the vase with flowers. Replace the head and use the vase as a delightful object on your kitchen counter, your mantle or a side table. Felt rings between the components protect them from damage.
