Founded by Don Indalecio Núñez Muro, El Viejito is a family business that has specialized in tequila production since 1937. With a strong commitment to the environment and social responsibility, they have exported their products without interruption since 1964. Currently managed by the third generation, El Viejito is the first tequila from Atotonilco and a proudly 100% Mexican company.
Bright and crystal clear. The aromatics are very intense, offering aromas of agave, baked apple, tropical fruit, and candied citrus zest, with supporting notes of mandarin, melon, and watermelon. The palate echoes the nose, delivering an agave-driven core with supporting flavors of lime, cantaloupe, and hints of orange peel. The finish is crisp, medium-bodied, and idealy balanced with a juicy texture.
