OVERVIEW: “The 'Hers' Vermentino comes from the Carneros AVA, known for its cool climate and morning fog, which provides the ideal conditions for growing crisp, aromatic white wines. The soils are a mix of clay and loam, contributing to the wine’s bright acidity and mineral-driven character.”

WINEMAKING: “The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed to retain freshness and purity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit’s natural aromas and flavors. The wine undergoes a short aging process on its lees, which enhances texture and mouthfeel. The wine was aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks on lees.”

TASTING: “The 2024 Vermentino is lithe and refreshing. Eminently mouth watering it bursts with lemon rind, white florals and salty sea spray. The palate is zippy and crunchy but rounds out with texture and depth.”
