Olafsson Icelandic Gin

Óoafsson Gin is a small batch Icelandic gin inspired by Eggert Ólafsson, Iceland’s most loved 18th century explorer, poet, naturalist and guardian of the Icelandic culture, who spent five years exploring the country and published in 1772 the full account of his scientific expedition and cultural research trip in the famous Ferðabók, (Travels in Iceland).

Complex, refreshing, smooth yet crisp, Olafsson Gin captures the beauty and wonder of Icelandic nature. Native arctic thyme, birch and mountain moss give Ólafsson its true Icelandic character. The trio is supported by a classic juniper base, floral and citrusy botanicals, earthy spices and roots. With its naturally high pH and minerality, the lava-filtered Icelandic water, one of the purest, most crystal-clear waters on the planet, balances the gin with an incredible smoothness and silky texture.
