Teithmill 2014 11 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Thompson Bros 54.1%

A single cask Teithmill 11 year old whisky here released by independent bottlers Phil & Simon Thompson. Teithmill is the ’secret name’ given to whisky from Deanston distillery and is a way of differentiating official releases from independent bottling’s. It refers to the distillery’s location on the banks of the powerful river Teith. 

Distilled in 2014 the liquid spent 11 years in a single refill hogshead before bottling in 2025 at 54.1% abv. Aromas of marshmallow and nougat are complemented by cookie dough, more nougat and shortbread with hints of green peppers and lime tree leaves on the palate. An enjoyable long finish with a delicate lingering spice.
