Vietti Barolo 2021 750ml is a classic expression of Barolo crafted from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from numerous vineyard sites throughout the appellation. Formerly known as Barolo Castiglione, this celebrated bottling brings together individually vinified vineyard parcels to capture the complexity and character of the broader Barolo region.

Expressive aromas and flavors of plum, ripe cherry, blackberry and rose are joined by violet, spice, licorice, tobacco and alpine herbs. The palate is rich and structured yet refined, with beautifully integrated tannins and a long, savory finish.

Each vineyard parcel is vinified separately, with approximately three to four weeks of fermentation and skin contact. Following malolactic fermentation in wood, the wine is aged for approximately 30 months in large oak barrels with a small portion in barriques before the individual components are assembled for the final blend.
